↗Real impact, real numbers

For just $1,500, we can fund over 200 home-delivered meals to homebound seniors, ensuring they receive not only nourishment but also companionship through safety check-ins. A $2,500 donation can provide 400 meals at congregate meal sites, where seniors gather to enjoy meals together, fostering community and reducing isolation. With a generous contribution of $5,000, we can deliver more than 714 home-delivered meals or fund over 1,400 congregate meals, thereby significantly enhancing the health and well-being of our senior community.
How we vet recipient partners
To ensure your contributions are effectively utilized, we partner with organizations that meet strict vetting criteria. We prioritize Area Agencies on Aging-contracted providers that adhere to federal and state accountability standards, as well as members of the Meals on Wheels America network. Our partners also meet the nutrition standards outlined in the Older Americans Act Title III-C, ensuring no or minimal waiting lists for services, which indicates stable funding and capability to serve our seniors effectively.
How proceeds flow
After deducting tow and processing costs, approximately 70-80% of gross proceeds from your car donation will flow directly to our partner programs. This amount is then applied to specific program budgets, ensuring that the funds are allocated efficiently to support senior meal initiatives. Your generosity empowers our mission, helping us to sustain and strengthen our community's nutritional support systems for seniors.
